I believe therapy is most powerful when it feels like a partnership—where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful shifts in your life. Whether you’re navigating the ups and downs of parenting, facing the challenges of adolescence, working through anxiety or depression as an adult, or seeking deeper connection in your relationship, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, honesty, and encouragement. Therapy isn’t about being “fixed”—it’s about being supported while you become more fully yourself. My hope is to help you reconnect with your values, develop meaningful insight, and find steadiness—even when life is unpredictable.
My style is practical, grounded, and responsive. I use a solution-focused, strengths-based, and client-centered approach, meaning we’ll work together to identify what’s already working, build on your natural strengths, and explore what’s getting in the way of your peace or progress. I know that healing isn’t always straightforward, and I offer a flexible space where it’s okay to be messy, unsure, or stuck while we sort through it together.
I also integrate present-moment awareness and mindfulness—always with an eye toward what resonates with you. I’m not interested in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we’ll tailor your therapy to who you are and what you need most in this season.
In addition to my work with individuals and families, I’m passionate about supporting couples as they navigate conflict, build communication skills, and strengthen emotional connection. Whether you’re healing from past hurts or simply wanting to grow closer, I provide a supportive space for honest dialogue, empathy, and shared growth.
I’ve worked with clients from many walks of life over the past decade, and one thing I’ve learned is that we all carry invisible burdens. So much of our distress comes from trying to hold it all alone. You don’t have to.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University, and later completed a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision through Walden University.
For over a decade, I worked in nonprofit settings where I supported children, teens, and families through some of life’s most difficult moments—trauma, grief, identity shifts, anxiety, depression, and systemic stressors. That work taught me the importance of staying flexible, culturally attuned, and deeply compassionate.
Now at Bloom, I bring that same heart for service into a space that allows for deeper, more individualized work. I especially enjoy helping parents feel more confident and connected in their roles, supporting teens as they develop self-awareness and coping tools, guiding adults who are looking to break old patterns, and working with couples to foster stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
As a lifelong learner, I love diving into continuing education, discovering new ideas, and adapting my approach to better meet the evolving needs of my clients. I’m equally curious about people—I want to understand your world, your story, and the strengths you might not even know you have yet.
