My counseling approach centers on self-worth, self-love, and empowerment. I offer a safe, spacious, and grounded environment where you can process your experiences at your own pace, while also receiving honest, gentle, and compassionate feedback.
I provide both holistic psychotherapy and integrative yoga + psychotherapy sessions for those who wish to incorporate mindful movement into their healing process. My work is trauma-informed and rooted in the mind-body connection, blending evidence-based therapies with a thoughtful integration of spirituality.
I take an individualized approach, drawing from modalities such as Somatic Experiencing, psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), AEDP, solution-focused therapy, attachment theory, and inner child work. I also incorporate supportive tools like mindfulness, yoga, astrology, and clinical hypnosis—offering both depth and flexibility in our work together.
I specialize in working with trauma and C-PTSD, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I support adults who grew up with emotionally immature parents, individuals healing from narcissistic abuse, and families navigating estrangement or alienation. I can help you move out of the confusion of psychological abuse, establish and maintain healthy boundaries, release people-pleasing patterns, strengthen communication skills, and navigate co-parenting or family court-related stress. Our work will focus on restoring clarity, stability, self-esteem, personal power, and authentic expression.
As a passionate advocate for women’s health across the lifespan, I bring 17 years of prenatal and postnatal yoga teaching experience into the therapy space. When appropriate, we can integrate yoga into sessions. I also support clients through life transitions such as perimenopause and menopause, as well as experiences including infertility, miscarriage, infant loss, and birth trauma.
I believe you are continually unfolding into your own healer—therapy simply supports and accelerates that process. You are worthy of care and support, and you don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to help you shed what no longer serves you, reconnect with lost parts of yourself, and reclaim your inner resources.
My hope is to support you in becoming fully aligned with who you are—restoring your sense of aliveness, clarity, and purpose—so you can live a peaceful, intentional, and meaningful life. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on that journey.
I am a midlife warrior and wounded healer who received and accepted the call to evolve into a therapist halfway through life. I received a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Michigan and later a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at LaSalle University in Philadelphia many moons ago.
I have worked in the fields of neuropsychology, addictions, and rehabilitation. But most of my professional experience has come from holding a safe space for pregnant, postpartum, parenting, and perimenopause populations through yoga, mindfulness, meditation, psycho-education, and astrology. I owned and operated my own successful prenatal and postnatal yoga business in Austin for 15 years which has brought me much fulfillment and joy.
The decision to grow into a therapist at this point of time was both organic and intentional. My passion in wanting to help people take back their power and to create the life they want is very much informed by my own life experience, story, and healing work.
I value understanding, faith, freedom, and connection. My love language is safety and that is my number one priority in session with you. When I am not working, I enjoy reading astrology charts both professionally and for fun, attending church on Sundays, connecting with friends and family, singing, and staying active.
