Clinical Approach & Specialties
I see therapy as a space where your voice matters, your story is honored, and your growth is supported with care and intention. My approach is centered on building trust and collaboration, creating a space where you can unpack life’s complexities without judgment or pressure to “be” anything other than yourself.
I draw from a blend of narrative, solution-focused, strengths-based, and attachment-informed approaches. I also integrate mindfulness practices and principles from Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) to help clients reconnect with their inner resources and strengthen their relationships. Narrative therapy, in particular, allows us to examine the stories that shape how you see yourself and your relationships; and to re-author those narratives in ways reflecting your resilience and values.
My work often focuses on communication, attachment, and family and relationship dynamics. I support adolescents, adults, couples, and families through challenges such as anxiety, grief, attachment wounds, life transitions, and relational conflict. In our sessions, you can expect warmth, clarity, and a balanced mix of reflection and practical strategies. My hope is to help you feel grounded, capable, and genuinely seen.
More About Me
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University and my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas A&M University–Central Texas. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate in Texas, practicing under the supervision of an LMFT-Supervisor. I’m also a certified TBRI® Practitioner, which has shaped how I understand trust, attachment, and the importance of felt safety in healing work.
Before moving into private practice, I worked in nonprofit settings supporting children, teens, and families navigating trauma, life stressors, and relational challenges. That experience gave me a deep respect for people’s capacity to heal in difficult circumstances, and it informs the way I hold space for clients today.
I consider myself a lifelong learner and love exploring new therapeutic approaches that help me better serve my clients. Outside of therapy, I enjoy slow mornings with coffee, exploring new places, and finding little ways to slow down and recharge. I bring that same curiosity and presence into my work, meeting clients exactly where they are, and walking with them as their stories evolve.
